Bauma 2022 - Erkin ER250.000PL-10
This new development of Erkin was shown at the Bauma, a heavy tracked knuckleboom.
It stands on a crawler chassis of the dutch company VTS.
The crane chassis has got heavy outriggers at the front and rear that offer good stability.
The crane is installed in the middle, so that 4 outriggers are enough for stability. The own weight of the crane and ballast was not mentioned.
A powerpack is installed behind the crane. At the right on the crane chassis a spot for the ballast is created. It is stacked there and the crane can then use arm at the rear to self-ballast.
The machine was shown in the ER-250.000PL-10+7 version, so a 10x extending base crane (25,9 mtr - 4,5t) combined with a 7x extending jib (43,8mtr - 550kg).
An interesting feature are these wheels. They are mounted on hydraulic cylinder and are meant to rotate the crane in indoor situations, without damaging the floor with the crawler. These wheels can rotate 360°, so that very precise manoevring is possible.
Two more of these wheels have been mounted at the rear near the powerpack. This way the crane can be used in the terrain as well as indoors.

Below you can see a video of this crane.
