The new DAF model series was presented to the german public for the 1st time at the Nufam, this one was for testdrives.

This is the top model, the XG+ with the 530 hp engine.

Inside stood the regular XG 480, so with normal roof and the 480 hp engine.

The XG model has gotten a 33 cm longer cab which gives more space to the driver.

Another XG model, now with low deck chassis and 450 hp. Interesting detail here is the additional window in the right door.

And this is the new XF series, so without that extra 33 cm of length. Here it is configured with a BDF swap body chassis. DAF now also added camera's as mirrors to the program.

And another XG+ 530 inside. According to DAF these new series can have up to 10% fuel savings.

Fassi displayed this Scania G450 4x4 with a Fassi F120 and Meiller tipper.

And this nice Mercedes Actros 8x4*4 of Michels.

Rear mounted is a Fassi F345.

A very interesting verhicle is this Scania S650 in 6x4*4 layout. The combination of the big V8 and a driven front axle has already found a couple of customers in the alp countries.

Especially this version as 6x4*4, so with the steering rear axle, offers a lot of manouevrability in tight situations. Behind the cab stands a Fassi F260.

Kreischer Baukranlogistik uses this truck to transport construction cranes. These are often installed on cramped locations. These can be pulled with the 5th wheel but also with a drawbar coupling.

Many things can be disconnected on this truck, so can the crane and the toolboxes behind it. Also the 5th wheel can be taken off and can be mounted of different locations on the subframe.

An interesting type of Scania of which we hopefully will see more.
