Fassi

The big news at Fassi was this new F1800 crane. It is a further development of the F1500 that, for example by using stronger steels, landed in a higher class. The crane is being delivered in 3 base versions, a F1800AXP.24, .26 and the the version shown here, the .28 (meaning 4x, 6x or 8x hydraulically extending). These have outreaches of 11, 15,25 and 19,4 meter. The maximum capacity of the .24 crane is about 132 ton/mtr. The .28 version is available with the L816 jib, a 6x extending unit that gives the crane an outreach of 31,3 meter. The crane can lift a maximum load of 40 ton at about 3 meters distance.

Caution: data is preliminary, the testing hasn't completed yet, this is a prototype model

At the 2nd stand of Fassi stood the trucks. This Volvo FM 8x2 is one of them. It is equiped with a Fassi F1500AXP.28 that extends 8x. Further does it have a jib that extends 6x hydraulically.

An interesting truck is this Iveco Trakker 450 in 8x2*6 version. It is a tractor that is equiped with a Fassi F950AXP.28, an 8x extending crane that can lift 3,18 ton at 19,85 meters. With the L426 jib the outreach becomes 31,7 meters with a capacity of 735 kg. The interesting thing about this truck is that is has been equiped for recovery work. Therefore it has a winch at the foot of the crane. The chassis is equiped with twistlocks to mount a flatbed on, or maybe also to mount a demountable recovery arm on them.

Faymonville

Faymonville showed several lowloaders. The 4-axled semi lowloader looks like it will go to a fire department. The 3-axled lowloader goes to Autotrasport Bontempi and the 4-axled unit belongs to Arienti.

Fuart

The italian truck brand Fuart showed this truck with an interesting container lifting portal. The installation can rotate on the chassis so that it can also pick up containers from the side.

Hiab

At the Hiab stand stood this Astra HD8 64.41, a 6x4 truck with a 410 hp Iveco Cursor engine. It is equiped with a demountable frame on which the tipper and the Hiab 477 are mounted. There was also a Iveco Stralis 500 8x2 that was equiped with a Hiab 855 crane. This unit was built by Wille from the Netherlands.
