MAN TGA 41.660 - Siefert
In September 2021 I could photograph this combination at the reststop at Hockenheim.
Siefert Spedition used their MAN TGA 41.660 tactor on this job, so with the classic 18 liter V10 engine with 660 hp.
Siefert's vehicles where very noticable due to their colors, which they unfortunately lost after they where bought.
On top of the chassis there is a beam with twistlocks, it can hold a ballast box.
The tower behind the cab holds a dieseltank, oiltank, air barrels and the large cooling for the engine and torque converter. With the V10 engine, MAN still installed the dual raised exhausts.
It is pulling a 10-axled combination with a load in a closed wooden box.
The Scheuerle is put together by using a goose neck and a 3, 2 and 5-axled module.
The load weighs 100 tons.
At the rear of the module we see the connection plates in the middle that can hold a bed or the next module.
At the end of chassis the MAN has got a heavy drawbar coupling.
At the front it holds a coupling, so that this truck can be used to push aswell as pull transports.
A very nice combination and I was lucky to get to see it in that weekend!
