Mercedes Actros 4153 of Autohilfe from Zürich. The truck is equiped with a Boniface Masterlift Comfort wrecker unit that has been mounted by the company Brechtel. A HMF 37 20 crane has been mounted behind the cab.

The Mercedes had a partly burned Volvo hooked on to his boom. A light freigth for this truck.

On the right side the lockers where opened. At the end is the control panel for the wrecker.

The towed truck is being pickep up by it’s roll stabilizor by using the U-shaped struts that are mounted to the boom. The chaines keep the truck on the boom.

The truck is lifted at the rear-side. At this way you don’t have to demount the drive shaft from the gearbox to the rear-axle (for problems with gearbox lubrication).

At the rear-side we see that, at the top of the boom, a camera is mounted. With that, the driver can check the towed truck while he is driving.
