Renault C520 - Cand-Landi
This is the Renault C520 10x6H of Cand-Landi SA from Grandson (CH).
Behind the cab of this 5-axled Renault stands an impressive Cormach 150000X crane.

The X in the name of the crane tells us that the front outriggers are placed in a cross setup, as can be seen here. As these outriggers extend to the front aswell, they offer stability when working to the front. The 2nd front axle has been equiped with a hydraulic drive, which is recognizable by the small hub. Optitrack is the name of the sytem at Renault.

The body was built by Centro Gru, a daughter company of Cormach. They installed a flatbed with a large extending section behind the crane.

Between the crane an the cab stands an oil tank and a cooler. Also the 2-piece exhaust system is placed here.

The truck is a Renault C520 10x6H*6. This means that 2 axles are driven mechanically, the 2nd front axle is driven hydraulically and the 2 front and the last axles are steering.

A deserted caravan had to be removed from this camping site. Here the trucks is parked as close as possible to the caravan.

The small boat was also part of the cleanup and was loaded before I arrived.

The Cormach 150000X E9 F206 HP is a 9x extending crane with a 6x extending jib. The 9 extensions give an outreach of 19 meter with 4,78 tons capacity. At 9,7 meters this capacity raises to 10,94 tons. The jib was installed here, but with that an outreach of 31,16 meter with 1,26 tons of load is possible. The maximum load at aprox. 23 meters of height at the jib is 7,51 tons.

All 9 extensions on the base crane where needed to reach to this caravan, which was located behind some trees.

Here the caravan has passed some trees and a small shed and is now hanging directly beside the Renault.

After which it is being lifted over the hedge...

...and onto the waiting MAN TGS 8x2.
The MAN is equiped with a small Hiab crane.

I made a video of this lifting job that you can see here.
A nice crane truck, especially a rare one, with the combination of a Renault with a large Cormach!
