In the summer of 2004 I saw this combination in the harbour of Wallhamn (S).

It is the transport of a used Demag AC 615 from 1989.

The combination belongs to Brunskog from Ljungby (S) and is pulled by this nice 8x4 Scania R144G-530.

The 2nd axle is mounted very far to the rear. Between that axle and the tandem there’s a oil tank for the trailer hydraulics.

A large box has been mounted behind the cab. In the middle, between the toolboxes, is the dieseltank. On top of that is a small cooler, probably for the hydraulics.

The crane was transported on a Goldhofer 3-bed-6 moduletrailer. The last 6 axles are a combined 4 and 2 axle unit. The bed has been extended a bit so that the crane fits on it.

The weight of this crane is about 72 tons.

The strong low sun of this evening made it impossible to get good pictures of the drivers side of the truck.
