This is the Volvo FH12-460 8x4 tractor of Klaus Sørensen Transport from Jordrup/Egholt (DK).

Remarkable thing is the triple rear axle, that is not standard on a Volvo.

The tower in typical “Danish style”, a lot of the danish transport companies build these towers themselves.

All 3 rear axles are air-suspended. The first one is also liftable. This axle was, according to the driver, mounted in Holland. Unfortunatelly I couldn’t find out which company did the mounting.

The load on both rear axles can be reduced independantly (by air suspension) so that enough traction can be generated, even on a slippery ground. (reducing one, will increase load on the other)

The free space between the axles has also been filled up.
