This is the Astra HD7 of the company Gentili Giancarlo from Bagnoregio (I).
The truck is parked here in the Bagnoregio village, unfortunately it was parked a bit cramped. The Astra has got a Cormach 180000 installed. The modelseries of the Astra is the HD7, the model is the 84.42, meaning it is an 8x4 chassis with a 420 hp engine.

This side was hard to photograph. This side only holds the dieseltank.
This side was a bit better. The heavy Cormach get't it stability from 4 large outriggers. These are manufactured by Cormach. The subframe is installed on top of the Astra chassis, therefore giving a rather high flatbed. This doesn't really matter, as this truck cannot transport a load anymore.
As you can see, the crane cannot fold down like a regular knuckleboom, but it can only be put down over the flatbed. The jib folds down below the main boom, lying on the flatbed during transport. As all the boom parts are in 1 line, the crane will not have sideways bending force during lifting. This construction allows for a very stable crane with high lifting capacities.
The Cormach 180000-E6 is a crane with a large capacity, the maximum weight that it lifts is 30 ton at 3,85 meters or even 50 tons at 2 meter with a special fixed hook. The outreach of the 6x extending crane is 16,38 meters with 7,76 tons of load. With the long 4x extending jib it can reach up to 39,56 meters with 670 kg capacity. The maximum load the jib can carry is 4,2 tons.

An interesting and rare combination, that was used here with a workmans basekt.
